Lower centers (or the 3 centers) |
- The intellectual center:
seat of our thinking activity. This is where our thoughts,
representations, concepts, reasoning, logic, and ideas are
formed.
- The emotional center: seat
of our emotions, feelings, and desires.
- The physical center, consisting
of:
- An instinctive center
(inner movements): the automatic, innate functioning
of our breathing, blood circulation, digestion, and
metabolism, as well as our senses and reflexes.
- A moving center (outer
movements): any movement that must be learned (walking,
speaking, writing, chewing, etc.)
- A sex center, which
produces the sexual energy necessary for reproduction,
the conservation and evolution of the human species,
and also permits man to give birth to what is highest
in himself.
