Inner considering
Although we hardly ever notice it, a considerable portion of our thoughts are centered around one subject, namely ourselves, our problems, and our requirements and demands with respect to our needs and desires. We are attached to what other people think or say about us, how they treat us, generally considering that other people, life, and even God do not give us our due, do not recognise our true value or treat us the way they should. The Work consists in observing this process, becoming aware of its uselessness, and stopping it.
