Personality |
In the broader sense, the personality consists
of everything man has developed over the course of his life,
through his education, experiences, and the abilities he has
cultivated. In the narrower sense, it refers only to the positive
part (good qualities, talents), whereas the false personality
comprises what is negative, all the false ideas we have about
people and things, all the negative emotions and features (fear,
self-love, etc.) that inhabit us. Everyone thinks that they
can evolve from their personality. They are completely mistaken.
In order to evolve, we must nourish a preexisting element inside
us, our Essence,
consciously integrating the aspects of our personality and freeing
ourselves from the characteristics of our false personality,
in order to give birth to our Higher
I. |
